No Shipment to Big For Simtex International Ltd
Following a busy Easter holiday period for Simtex, the team set about completing the largest single shipment with some 70 x IMO class 1 explosive containers loading over a 2 day period to a vessel chartered by Simtex International Ltd.
Managing every aspect of each shipment is something Simtex International pride themselves on. This can range from specific requirements of the shipper or receiver to local legislative restrictions and this was no different. Simtex worked with their local partner to arrange guarding and police escorts for 7 convoys of trucks to move loaded containers from factory to vessel side for loading.
Controlling in excess of 40 trucks, drivers and guard and escort vehicles is no easy task but the Simtex team were more than up to the task with the vessel completing loading operations ahead of schedule and the vessel already making up time on its schedule.
